Blacktown City Council is helping to revitalise our local communities by building exciting new facilities so our residents can work and play where they live.
We celebrate and acknowledge the Darug people as the First Nations people of this Country. Council is working with leaders and residents in our community to design and build these projects. The projects are all part of our vision for a modern and vibrant Blacktown City.
These community facilities are part of the $273m funding Council received as part of the NSW Government’s Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants (WSIG) program.
The Mount Druitt Swimming Centre Renewal provides upgrades to allow for year-round use of the facility. The new facility will help us to meet current and future demand by residents for swimming access in Mount Druitt.
