Consultation has concluded
Blacktown City Council is helping to revitalise our local communities by building exciting new facilities so our residents can work and play where they live.
We celebrate and acknowledge the Dharug people as the First Nations people of this Country. Council is working with leaders and residents in our community to design and build these projects. The projects are all part of our vision for a modern and vibrant Blacktown City.
These community facilities are part of the $273m funding Council received as part of the NSW Government’s Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants (WSIG) program.
We will expand and modernise the current library and community centre, as well as including upgrades to the public domain adjacent to the Hub. The Hub will be even more valuable as a vital community asset within a Mount Druitt city centre precinct.
